ON December 13 play was over seven tables, with Terry Lucey and Doreen Round taking first place in north-south, with 56 per cent, while John and Barbara Northfield were second with 54 per cent.
Liz Leslie and Sadie Sainsbury won east-west with 58 per cent, followed by Philip Morgan and Wendy Duley on 52 per cent.
The following week play was over eight tables, the Northfields winning north-south with 62 per cent, with Nick Holcome and Sarah Green just one per cent behind.
East-west was won by Charles and Vera Smith with 56 percent, and Norman and Jo Hall were second with 54 per cent.
