A DISTINCTIVE stick used in the Irish sport of hurling could hold a clue to the identity of thieves who struck in Kidderminster and stole a mini-motocross bike.

The offender or offenders used the wooden stick to force a fence apart at the house in Greatfield Road at about 3.30am last Thursday before making off with the blue motorbike, worth £200.

The stick has a large flat head that is used for hitting the ball, with blue and white tape at both ends. On the handle are faded letters, including N and K.

Anyone with information should contact Kidderminster police on 0800 444555.
