WARRIORS head coach Anthony Eddy remains positive despite watching his side slip to their fourth consecutive defeat.

Worcester went down 15-11 to Northampton Saints at Sixways, which also means they have lost three Premiership games since Christmas --two of them at home.

But Eddy is not about to panic at the club's current plight. "We're reasonably happy," he said. "The first 20 to 25 minutes I thought we played exceptionally well.

"I thought we dominated field position and put them under a lot of pressure. We were probably a bit unlucky just to walk away from that with three points after having Aisea Havili over the line on one occasion."

The Tongan winger's effort was ruled out by the video referee and he also had a last-minute try disallowed because of a forward pass.

Television replays were inconclusive but Eddy refused to moan at the officials.

"If it was forward, it was a fair call," he said. "If it wasn't forward, it was an unfortunate call.

"But it would have been nice to have won the match prior to that or to have been in a little bit better position than what we were towards the end of the second- half.

"We had trouble getting the ball in the first part of the second-half. On a couple of occasions there was an unfortunate obstruction from a line-out.

"We lost possession there and then so we couldn't put any play together for that period."

But the Australian is confident that Warriors can turn the corner.

"I think we have got to look at some positives from that game," he said. "Our defence and our character will only make us stronger for other games in the competition."
