GARY Trueman will make his first appearance in a Warriors shirt for 12 weeks tomorrow in a game the club must win to guarantee progress in Europe.

Trueman has not played since the end of October but has recovered from ankle surgery and will start on the wing at Montpellier's Stade Sabathe ground.

His inclusion comes after injuries to Uche Oduoza (quad) and Thinus Delport (knee) necessitated a shake-up among the backs.

James Brown is moved to full-back, where he performed admirably for an hour against Amatori Catania on Saturday, while Thomas Lombard returns at inside centre in place of Simon Whatling.

The only change among the forwards sees Phil Murphy return to the second row after recovering from a rib injury.

If Connacht get a bonus-point victory in Catania then a win for Worcester in France would mean that they finish above the Irish side in the pool, because of a superior head-to-head record.

But boss John Brain is not expecting Montpellier to make it easy for his side.

"I think it all depends how they approach the game but we can't be too worried about how they are going to approach it," he said.

"We've got to make sure that we go in the right frame of mind and look to get the result that we need to win the group. It's quite simple. We need to win out there and, if we win out there, that's it."
