I NOTED the small article on QinetiQ on page three last week.

The shares that the US firm Carlyle bought were sold by the Government for £40 million, being 31 per cent. What are they now worth? This Government's pure ineptitude has cost us taxpayers an horrific sum, the shares were sold to a US interest at a knock-down price at the time. Good luck to the chairman whose share is now wore £1million plus.

I wonder why I am not believed when I say the British do the brainwork and the profits finish up overseas.
