IT seems the more we pay in taxes, the less we get in return. Was it not a gross waste of public money repainting road markings, erecting The Leaning Needles of Redditch and now Church Green is being dug up? What's that all about?
Ways of saving money could include a 50 per cent reduction in street lighting on dual carriageways.
This would compromise no-one's safety while saving a considerable amount of money and reducing light pollution.
