POLICE are appealing for information after a woman's carrier bag was snatched in Kidderminster.
The woman was walking alongside the canal near McDonalds at Weavers Wharf when she was approached by a man on a bicycle.
He grabbed the carrier bag she was holding and rode off, at 8.30pm on Thursday, January 19.
The bag contained the woman's medication, along with cider and some letters.
A police spokesman said: "We are appealing to anyone who was in the area on Thursday evening to give us a call if they saw anything that may be connected to this incident.
"We are also urging anyone who finds these tablets, believed to be Diazepam and Amitriptyline, to hand them in at the nearest police station.
"Like any medication, they are potentially dangerous if taken by anyone they have not been prescribed for and medical attention should be sought for anyone believed to have taken them."
Anyone with information should call 08457 444888.
