KICKBOXING king Jonathan Weaver has been crowned "Fighter of the year" by his club after triumphing at the World United Martial Arts English Championships.
The 15-year-old Stourport High School pupil, who is 13 stone, won five, came second in one and third in seven of his 14 fights to win the title. He was competing in the under-16 over 165cm category.
Weaver, who took up the sport five years ago, has been honoured by his club Eclipse Martial Arts, which is based at Foley Park School.
