MALVERN'S English Symphony Orchestra has announced details of its own young musicians' award.
The first KnightFrank Elgar Award is open to musicians from Herefordshire and Worcestershire who are 24 or under by June 2, 2006, and interested in pursuing a career as a professional musician.
Initial rounds will take place in May and the final will be on May 30, the eve of the Elgar International Festival, at Malvern Theatres.
The first prize winner could scoop £1000, along with concerto performance with the ESO and performances with concert clubs across the two counties.
