THE reason why the authorities at King's School don't want people to feed the birds near the boat house steps is, I suspect, nothing to do with fear of avian flu. I think it's more to do with the need to keep the oiks `orf' their land. Bet you I'm right.
Following my recent reprimand, I now hurl my bacon fat-soaked bread into the water elsewhere. It gives me perverse pleasure to help the survival of seagulls and feral pigeons, knowing how so many people hate them. Individuals who demonise these creatures must be found work to do. Got it, Podge-Face?
