TUESDAY night's visit to Shrewsbury Town was called off on the morning of the match.

A 10am pitch inspection revealed the Gay Meadow pitch had not drained overnight rain.

It had been hit by bad weather since the Shrews' 1-1 home draw with Hartlepool United on Saturday.

Harriers' visit to Shropshire has now been put off twice, among seven games postponed this season.

Boss Jan Molby conceded: "It's been an incredible season with the weather. It's not just the games we've lost but also a number of training sessions.

"I find training's never great when they should have been playing because people are so deflated."
