KIDDERMINSTER Harriers' fate could finally be sealed tomorrow -- but manager Stuart Watkiss is still determined to take their battle into the final day of the season.

With three fixtures left, Harriers are on the brink of ending their five-year Football League stay and returning to the Conference.

A Rushden and Diamonds victory at Darlington tomorrow will effectively send Kidderminster down due to goal difference, whatever their result at Boston United.

But Harriers, six points behind in the Coca-Cola League Two table, can still cling onto survival hopes with a victory or even a draw if Rushden are defeated by the play-off chasing Durham side.

However, Watkiss is only concerned about the trouble on his own doorstep, insisting: "It's pointless thinking of what's going on in the Rushden camp.

"Fair play to them, they seem to have their house in order but they go up to Darlington, who are fighting for the play-offs, so it's a tough away fixture.

"If we win at Boston, then we shall see how Rushden have done. But if we don't win, then it's irrelevant.

"We're still alive, though it may only be for another week or two. We have to believe we can get a result."
