TWO trialists stole the limelight as Worcester-shire opened their Second XI programme in style against Derbyshire at Heanor.
James Schofield hit 87 and Steve Moore 59 as the County closed the first day on 390-8. They were backed up by a maiden half-century from Depesh Patel (53no), who helped Schofield put on 138 for the eighth wicket.
The total was also swelled by 73 extras, including 35 wides.
