SHIRT sponsors OGL have confirmed a record six-figure deal with Kidderminster Harriers to extend their backing for a further two years.

The Kidderminster computer firm started sponsoring Harriers five years ago and the new contract will run alongside that of kit supplier Le Coq Sportif until the end of season 2003/04.

Chairman Lionel Newton, who sealed the deal with OGL managing director Paul Byrne, said their sponsors had played a big role in building on the behind-the-scenes foundations at Aggborough.

OGL sales director Neil Morris, also chief executive at Harriers, admitted their connection with the football club had proved a good marketing move.
