A 55-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to causing the death of two men by driving carelessly while under the influence of drink.
Graham Bessant, of Edgeworth Close, Redditch, was remanded at Worcester Crown Court for a trial date to be fixed. He was granted bail with a condition he does not drive.
The charges allege he was driving his Jaguar XJ6 when he was over the limit on the A4023 Coventry Highway, Redditch, on June 12. The men who died were Zahid Abbas and Clive Edwards.
