I WRITE to comment on your contributors who seem to think spending more than £600,000 on an event without making a profit or even covering costs a success.

I suggest the advocates of the AIR Festival probably called it that in memory of the air head who thought of it and that they should use their personal money and the funds of their supporters to stage the next event.

Maybe then they will learn the meaning of the word success.
