MAY I, through your paper, say a big thank you to the kind gentleman who helped me on Thursday in Car Park 3.

My car broke down on the first ramp after the entrance and I tried to roll back into a space between a car and a pillar. I did not succeed and was left stranded across the ramp so no-one could go up.

Numerous cars piled up at the barrier and beyond and drivers impatiently started tooting their horns.

They could see I was going nowhere and yet not one offered me assistance, except for an older gentleman.

He struggled to push me back but between us, we managed to get out of the way. I said thank you for the help and he went on his way.

As for the rest of you, I am sorry for breaking down and making you wait a few minutes. I am also sorry you did not have the decency to give any assistance and let a gentleman who was not young in years struggle to help me.

I do hope he is well as he at least keeps my faith that there are some good people out there.
