THE February meeting proved to be very enjoyable and interesting. Our speakers, Tony Chapp and Anne Bucknall, kept the members entertained with their poems, monologues and short stories. By using the correct tone of voice at the appropriate times, and with prompt finishes, they kept the attention of their audience to get their message across.
Member Betty Gibbs read out a Tony Chapp poem called Calendar Girls and Betty Wolsey read a monologue by Anne Bucknall. Tony and Anne were thanked for their very entertaining performance.
