CHRIS Wilkie's second-half goal for Feckenham has set things up nicely for the second leg of the Challenge Cup semi-final at the Valley.

Trailing by a goal at Pershore on Saturday, the turning point came when the hosts missed a penalty and Wilkie crowned a second-half resurgence for Lee Adams' side.

And with goal machine Lee Ross expected to be back from injury for the second leg on April 1 and sweeper Ross Knight expected to be eligible for the competition Adams can be forgiven for being quietly confident despite warning: "they will feel, quite rightly at 1-1, that they are still in with a shout."

Adams was without Knight because last week's league trip to Coventry Copsewood was postponed leaving the experienced defender one match short of the three league games he has to feature in for Feckenham to qualify for the Challenge Cup.

That situation could be remedied on Saturday when Meir KA are the visitors (ko 2.45pm).

Adams' charges can climb to fifth with what should prove a routine victory given the additional presence of cup-tied brothers Andy and Richard Biddle - the latter coming into midfield to replace the absent Tom Harris.

And Adams promised a more positive formation for the return match against Pershore.

"We were conscious we had to keep things tight so we had four at the back with Steve Fergusson man-marking Simon Judge," said the Millers manager.

"Although we will take similar action in the return we will switch to three at the back and five in midfield on a surface which will allow us to get the ball down and play a bit more."
