NEIL Harrison and David Pearce got Cock & Magpie back on track as they won by a whisker against Wribbenhall Social in the Banks's Bewdley Darts League.

The thrilling match went to a final deciding doubles leg with little to choose between the teams after Social took a surprise lead.

Wribbenhall's Neil and Andy Franklin had the better start to the last leg despite a few stray darts but with a comfortable advantage they took their foot off the pedal.

This allowed Magpie back into the leg as Harrison hit 85 and Pearce weighed in with 95 to crank up the pressure on their opponents.

Social's Franklin looked to have kept his nerve for a 132 out shot when he hit treble 20, treble 18, but his third dart struck the outside rim of the double nine and Pearce stole in to sneak the win with a 65 for Magpies.

Gordon Stuart hit a 10-dart leg as Waggon A beat Bewdley B, while Bewdley A's Baz Nicholls hit a 180 as they lost to Rising Sun A.

Bliss Gate triumphed over Red Lion B and Great Western lost to in-form Black Boy B and the second 180 of the night came from Craig Hopkins as Waggon B beat Black Boy A.
