DANNY Valentino fired in a six-goal salvo to help Welford trounce Tysoe in Cutler Division Three of the Stratford and District Alliance.

The visitors rattled up a 9-2 victory with Valentino joined on the scoresheet by Ben Satchwell who bagged a hat-trick.

The latter was one of no fewer than seven players to net three goals or more last Saturday on an afternoon when Blockley Sports were the top scorers when recording a 10-0 Division Three victory against Welford's B side.

Jamie Hurrell was that game's treble topper, while Jon Ryan-Gill also hit the target three times as Ilmington maintained their Aquaid Division One title push with a 4-0 defeat of Badsey Rangers.

Nursing Home Cup ties were restricted to just one with Tom Heath scoring a hat-trick as Littleton overcame FISSC Reserves 5-0.

James Cooper matched Heath's tally as Studley Nags Head overcame Alcester Lions 3-1 in a first round R M Smith Cup clash, while Ryan Helliker went one better as Henley Forest gained an easy second round passage against Badsey United.
