A VARIETY of tempting treats will be on display at an upcoming Bewdley Farmers' Market.
The monthly market will take place on Sunday, March 26 as part of the Rediscover Bewdley weekend, organised by Opportunity Bewdley.
Farmers and producers from within a 30-mile radius will be selling their food from stalls along Severnside North from 10am.
Produce for sale will include seasonal fruit and vegetables, breads, pastries and cakes, free range eggs, cheeses, wines and juices.
There will also be traditionally reared meats, sausages and home cured bacon, as well as plants and herbs.
The market is organised by Worcestershire Farmers' Markets and The National Farmers Retail & Markets Association.
Throughout the weekend, pubs and restaurants in the town will also have special menus, with food from local producers.
Meanwhile, also on March 26, crafty children can have a go making their own brooms from birch wood found in the Wyre Forest.
As part of the "rediscover" weekend, Wyre Forest Discovery Centre will be running workshops between 2pm and 4pm.
Youngsters can also have a go at making their own charcoal and using it to draw pictures of the forest.
Demonstrations of traditional woodcrafts will also take place at the centre in Callow Hill.
Visitors can see a pole lathe in operation and charcoal burning as practised in the Wyre Forest for use in iron smelting in Dudley and the Saltworks in Droitwich.
There will be a chance to try an orienteering course and a map with instructions is available from the centre.
On Saturday, March 25, the Forestry Commission will host a five-mile guided walk from Bewdley through the Wyre Forest to the visitor centre, where a special tea will be served.
Walkers, who are advised to wear warm clothes, a waterproof coat and shoes or boots with a non-slip sole, should meet at 1.30pm at the park-and-ride stop at Bewdley High School, Stourport Road.
