SATURDAY afternoons will be given a Caribbean flavour at a new town workshop.
Redditch Youth House in Ipsley Street re-launched its Caribbean-orientated sessions for children aged five to 12 on Saturday with a guest appearance from Jacqui Smith MP.
The weekly workshops, which will run for the next two years - thanks to a cash boost from the Worcestershire Children's Fund - will include sports, cooking, black history and trips out. Sessions run from 2-4pm.
Group chairman Veronica Allen said they were very excited about the club's re-launch. Volunteers are needed to help run this scheme. For more details, call 60423.
