BROMSGROVE Rovers manager Rod Brown is hoping that the team's fixture congestion does not disturb the club's end of the season.

Combined with last night's game against Thame United Rovers are set for a gruelling schedule of four games in seven days.

Rovers go to Paulton Rovers tomorrow night (Thursday), before playing Hemel Hempstead at home on Saturday, April 8, and take on Hitchin Town in the Errea Southern League Cup final first leg on Tuesday, April 11.

Brown said: "Four games in seven games is going to be a massive drain on us. It means that I am going to have to swap players round because there's no way any player can play four matches in such a short space of time."

He also warned the players that each one of them is playing for their place in next season's squad.

Brown has already threatened to rebuild the squad in order to win promotion to the Southern League Premier Division next season.

Brown said: "All the players have been invited back but I've told them that I want players here who are hungry to win for this club.

"I'm looking for players who have a desire to win matches and have ability. The squad is going to change radically."

Rovers' coach for Paulton leaves the Victoria Ground at 3.45pm on Thursday, April 6. The game was planned for last Saturday but a flooded pitch forced it off.
