I am looking for information on a trooper of the QOWH from Bromsgrove, c1917 whose name was GH Field. He was the signaller of the QOWH in the charge at Huj. He was only armed with his flags.
I need to know if he survived the charge and/or First World War? Where is he buried?
I have had no luck with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, the War Records Office or Worcester Museum.
Can anyone help? Are there any surviving relatives to contact?
