AS we all know, standards of behaviour have plummeted over the last few years. A walk along Worcester High Street on a Saturday afternoon will rapidly convince even the most sceptical.
What a good idea it would be to bring back the stocks as a punishment for anti-social acts.
Not only would such chastisement have a salutary effect on offenders but it would also provide great sport for the rest of us.
