SIR - Every year, 245 children in the Worcestershire area need someone to care for them while they are unable to live with their own families. Foster carers offer vital support to some of society's most vulnerable children, providing a happier life and fostering brighter futures. But sadly, there is a shortage of 25 foster carers in the Worcestershire area.
From May 8 to 21, Worcestershire County Council fostering service will be taking part in UK-wide campaign Foster Care Fortnight, co-ordinated by fostering charity the Fostering Network, to highlight the urgent need for more foster carers.
