BE Yourself, the sixth form young enterprise company at The Chase school, Malvern, has won through to the final of the South Worcestershire Area Board competition.
The Chase team was the only state school of 19 starters and was placed in the top eight out of 31 schools that entered.
The students manufactured bird boxes and bird feeders from sustainable resources, using wood supplied via the Countryside Stewardship Scheme.
They also produced a comprehensive company report as part of their remit.
The Be Yourself mission statement places great importance on sustainability. John Palmer, head of ICT and The Chase's young enterprise link teacher said: "I am very proud of our team and the fact that they are able to compete in the final at King's School, Worcester."
