CHAIRMAN Jenny Johnson gave a warm welcome to members to the meeting on March 9 and introduced speakers Sheila Warner and Sharon Phillips, whose subject was Life Coaching, which is aimed to help find directon and decision to a possible change in life.
It is aimed to help, identify, and overcome barriers that are preventing you from moving forward, to set you back on track and encourage achievement of the life you always wanted.
On March 23, President Angela Stern thanked members for their help at the recent jumble sale.
Speaker John Carter, a professional musician, introduced a variety of instruments including an unusual Portugese 12-string guitar. With the accompaniment of his guitar, John rounded off his talk with some delightful well-known songs and music.
A tour of a local factory Xavier Handmade Ltd proved most enjoyable. Members were shown the skill in the making of special footware for the disabled, quality leather shoes and beautiful handmade wedding shoes.
The annual dinner held at Redditch NEW College was most enjoyable.
