SIR - May I congratulate the Elgar School of Music for the excellent concert performed on Saturday, May 13, by the students and teachers.
Pieces were sung and played from The Marriage Of Figaro, The Magic Flute, Symphony No.40 in G, Sonatina in F and many more, all to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Mozart. The students ranged from the Elgar Junior singers to students playing their chosen instruments to what I considered to be an excellent performance by Alan Travis, whose powerful baritone voice filled All Saints Church.
Well done to all who performed and organised the event, also Wilhelm Theunissen for his teaching and Donald Hunt, who accompanied most of the players and singers.
J GRIFFIN,
Malvern Wells.
