SIR - I would like to thank George Cowley for taking an interest in my views for the election campaign, and I would also like to thank those who voted Green in Gorse Hill.
As running a car is becoming increasingly expensive, I think it is essential to provide an inexpensive and efficient bus service for the people of Worcester and those in outlying areas.
Transport needs to be made very cheap to attract people out of their cars and to this end Government funding should be provided. If more investment is made, I am sure many people would use public transport willingly rather than end up in traffic jams.
Therefore, George, I think cheap, efficient public transport is a must.
