SIR - I believe that it is a £60 fine to park on double yellow lines and your car doesn't get towed away. Surely this is a cheaper option than parking on the Courts' car park with clampers on the prowl?
Does the company, or any other doing the same job, have operations licences? I understand that anyone using a vehicle for gain should have one - taxis, street traders, private rubbish removals and ice cream vans, to name but a few.
Does having a notice displayed allow clampers to remove your car without permission and to take it 35 miles out of the county for you to have to collect it, after paying a daily storage charge?
