GRAHAM Turner admits Hereford United's opening fixture of the Nationwide Conference season at Tamworth on Saturday is far from ideal.
The Staffordshire club, still on a high from winning the Dr Martens Premier Division, will provide a lively test for the Bulls at the Lamb Ground.
"We are looking forward to the new season and have been preparing hard for six weeks," said Turner.
"Saturday is the culmination of all that hard work and the big kick-off but Tamworth is not one I would have picked out.
"On the back of promotion they are used to winning and with that type of atmosphere it's going to be a fast and furious game in the heat but I think we have got enough quality to come out on top."
