STUDENTS from a Worcester school hope everything adds up to success when they compete in a national maths final.
Jack Harrison, aged 14, James Scott, 14, Daniel Hughes, 13, and Jonathon Horne, 13, from The Worcester Royal Grammar School, used their impressive maths skills to beat 24 regional teams and are now heading to London this summer to compete in the UK Maths Trust Team Challenge final.
A team from the King's School, Worcester, will also be attending the final after scoring 190 points out of a possible total of 240 - the same score as the winning RGS team, making both schools from Worcester joint first in the region.
The RGS academic success did not end there, since two sixth form students are also representing the UK in their chosen subjects.
Peter Ford, aged 17, has been selected to represent the UK in Singapore in the International Physics Olympiad and Joe Stains, aged 18, has been selected to go to Korea in a similar event for chemistry.
Both students will be jetting off at the end of the year, along with eight other students from schools thoughout the country.
