A MUSICAL extravaganza is to be held in memory of a much loved Redditch organist.

St Stephen's Church in Church Green will host a concert to mark the life of former organist Harvey Morris, who died last year.

Mr Morris was one of the leading figures in the musical world in Redditch. He had been a teacher at the old County High School and for more than 60 years was organist and choirmaster at St Stephen's.

He was also the organist at Redditch Crematorium.

The concert on Saturday, June 10, will include performances by some of the area's most talented organists, including Keith Hearnshaw, Nigel Burton and Graham Moseley.

It starts at 7.30pm and a large video screen will give all the audience the chance to see what is going on at the organ console.

Tickets for The Organists Entertain are £6/£5 and include a glass of wine. They are available on the door or by calling 69975.
