A NEW innovation was introduced at the May meeting - a five inch pot plant competition highlighting leaf count and root growth.
A good plant at this stage is the way forward to a winning bloom. On a second vote, Syd Webb was the declared winner.
The next meeting is on June 14 at 8pm at Shirley Community Centre, Stratford Road, Shirley.
The agenda will be Show Winners, How Did You Do It, and a quiz.
