THE May meeting was to discuss resolutions to be voted upon at the forthcoming national AGM.

Members agreed the delegate to the AGM support both motions.

There was a silent auction and plant sale.

The hiring out of the kurling stones is also proving a money-spinner.

A date was set for the next lunch, to include a visit to a national garden. Several members will be attending the ''musical lunch'' this month while others are looking forward to a holiday to the Rhine and Moselle in June.

Throughout the evening, members were treated to light-hearted sketches read by various members.

At the June 1 meeting, the speaker will be a magistrate to talk about Life on the Bench.
