THE May meeting was to discuss resolutions to be voted upon at the forthcoming national AGM.
Members agreed the delegate to the AGM support both motions.
There was a silent auction and plant sale.
The hiring out of the kurling stones is also proving a money-spinner.
A date was set for the next lunch, to include a visit to a national garden. Several members will be attending the ''musical lunch'' this month while others are looking forward to a holiday to the Rhine and Moselle in June.
Throughout the evening, members were treated to light-hearted sketches read by various members.
At the June 1 meeting, the speaker will be a magistrate to talk about Life on the Bench.
