WHAT a magnificent job has been made of the Palace Theatre.
It is difficult to single out any particular feature but the spacious foyer and the gorgeous stage curtains must be mentioned.
My Fair Lady, performed by Studley Operatic Society, certainly did justice to the beautiful surroundings.
The scenery and costumes were spectacular and the chorus faultless.
Special mention must be made of the main characters - Professor Henry Higgins, Eliza Dolittle, Alfred Dolittle and Colonel Pickering - what stars!
Congratulations to everyone involved. It was a wonderful evening's entertainment.
We would have been happy to see it a second time.
Dorothy Lewis, Millicent Phillips and Margaret Sutor
