JIM McKinley won the annual Roger Knight Trophy Medal competition at Eve-sham last Saturday.
Tricky conditions didn't deter the winner who shot an excellent net 67, playing off 14, that edged out Paul Sha-rpe on countback over the back nine holes.
Third place was also decided on countback with six handicapper Steve Wood pipping Brian Campbell (7) after both shot 71s in an event in which the standard scratch was 72.
Club professional Dan Clee and Mike Callaghan finished joint fourth at the Midlands Final of the Lombard Trophy at Little Aston on Monday.
The pair carded a splendid score of 67 that was three shots adrift of the winners who booked a place in the final and a luxury trip to the Algarve.
