THE Worcester Sea Cadets are looking for more youngsters to join them.
The cadets are part of the nationwide Sea Cadet Corps, a voluntary organisation open to people aged from 12 to 18, with a junior section for those aged 10 to 12.
The main aim of the corps is to encourage a high standard of conduct and self-discipline, based on the customs of the Royal Navy.
Some of the activities the cadets can get involved in include canoeing, power-boating, rowing, drill, first aid, shooting and the Duke of Edinburgh's Awards.
The Worcester cadets are based at Portland Walk, Diglis. Parade nights are held on Mondays and Fridays from 7.15pm to 9.30pm, with the junior section parading on Wednesdays from 7.15pm
until 8.30pm.
Any youngsters interested should ring 07899 6600911.
