SPECIAL OLYMPICS: Redditch took part in the West Midlands Ability Counts Festival at Aston Villa's Bodymoor Heath training ground at the weekend.
And it was a successful afternoon with Matthew Daykin, Robert Page, Matthew Page, Tim Craythorne, Carl Gayle, Daniel McFadden, Sajjad Araf and Kevin Jones finishing a fine second in the event.
Redditch opened with wins against Warwickshire Warriors and Burton B before drawing with Sutton B. Further victories against Burton A, Hallmoor and Worcester Allstars secured a final berth.
But this time, Hallmoor gained revenge for their earlier defeat, running out 4-1 winners.
