WORCESTER lost out to Coleshill by seven wickets in their third division match.

After losing the toss in the match at Norton, they were inserted onto a good wicket.

The hosts found themselves in trouble early on at 10-1, but the partnership of 40 between Weston and Mwayenga steadied the ship.

At 92-2, Worcester looked like they were going to build a big score but the introduction of spin soon took effect, with Worcester being bowled out for 155.

Mwayenga, Weston, Foster and Genever all got into the 20s while Coleshill's best bowlers were Craig (4-17) and Crotty (3-35).

Coleshill replied with an opening partnership of 34, which got them off to a good start.

The visitors overseas player, Reece McDonald, then came to the wicket with Coleshill on 58-2 and scored a stylish 91 not out, including 14 fours and three sixes to get them home in the 23rd over for the loss of three wickets.

Worcester's second team, playing at Fordhouses, were skittled out for 76 with captain Ashley Brown the only man to make any significant impression on the scoreboard with 24.

Fordhouses knocked the runs off for the loss of five wickets. Bryan Clarke was Worcester's best bowler with figures of 3-33.

In Division One, Bromsgrove lost to Harborne by five wickets as their target of 207 was easily chased down.

Evesham's Division Two match with Fordhouses ended in a tie with both sides claiming 14 points.

In Division Three, Ombersley defeated Kings Heath by five wickets with Catterall scoring an unbeaten 93.
