RAGLEY Home Farms has celebrated being selected as the first Linking Environment and Farming (LEAF) demonstration farm in Warwickshire.
Jim Doherty, of BBC2's Jimmy's Farm, officially launched the event on May 28 at Ragley Hall.
Ragley Home Farms lies within the Ragley Estate and now joins 50 others across the country which open their gates to demonstrate how to produce safe, healthy crops and livestock with environmental care through LEAF principles.
Mr Doherty said: "Demonstration farms play a critical role in reconnecting consumers with what they eat and how it is produced."
Ragley Hall farm manager Jon Parker said: "As Warwickshre farmers we believe it's vitally important consumers appreciate and really understand the issues that shape our countryside."
