VOLUNTEERS are needed to offer guidance and advice to some of the town's teenagers.
Worcestershire County Council is setting up a bank of mentors to help young people aged 14-19 make the most of their opportunities in life.
The scheme is looking for people aged 18-80 who can spare a few hours of their time and are flexible, open minded, approachable and sensitive.
The county's principal economic development officer Margaret Gray said: "Mentoring can be a very rewarding and enjoyable experience but there can also be more practical reasons to spare an hour or so a week.
"The support received from our professional team can give mentors the scope for personal development and the chance to gain new skills, or enhance existing skills; all of which can be particularly beneficial in the workplace."
