BRITISH Triathlon has just published its Duat-hlon National Rankings for the 2006 season and three members of Worc-ester Triathlon are top of the respective age group rankings.
The rankings are based on the best three results taken from the National Ranking events held so far this season.
Not surprisingly, Mich-elle Parsons tops her age group by virtue of having won both the domestic duathlon races she has entered this season at Swindon and Cambridge.
In his first season in the rankings, Dan Keen is top of age group B (18-20) and Marc Scriven, also of Worcester Tri Club, tops the 45-49 age category thanks to excellent performances at Swindon, Cambridge and the White Rose Duathlon in York.
Not to be outdone by the club's younger members, super veteran Les Bailey from Peopleton is awaiting the latest update of the rankings following events in Ashbourne and Edin-burgh to see if he has moved above his nemesis Dave Gardner from Wales to take over the lead in the 65-69 age category.
