THE club held its May meeting in Wychbold village hall with president Dot Waldron in the chair. During business matters, Jeanne Lewis was thanked for hosting the successful coffee morning the previous month. Joyce Parkes has invited us to her home, Wychwood, Hadley Heath, for our July garden meeting.

The resolutions to be debated at the WI AGM this summer were then explained and discussed - the presenters being Pat Tonks and Margaret Bradford. Pat handled the resolutions on renewable energy, giving information on the pros and cons concerning the use of alternative sources of energy. Members voted in favour of asking our link delegate to use her discretion on our behalf at the AGM.

Margaret presented the second resolution on sport for a healthy population, which received a unanimous vote in favour.

During social time, tea was served by Peggy Poultney and Sue Pugh, followed by two ingenious quiz games presented by Dot. The club meets again next Monday at 2pm in Wychbold village hall when Wade Muggleton will be speaking on the Old Orchards of Worcestershire.
