The president, Maureen, welcomed all members, together with Anne Smith, of the executive, who had been invited to discuss the resolutions.
Anne began by explaining how the two chosen resolutions had finally been chosen from approximately 100 originally entered. Taking each resolution separately, she explained the meaning of the wording and the various ways in which it would relate to our lives. Questions were asked by the members after which a vote, for or against each resolution, was taken.
A silent auction was held and the raffle drawn, followed by refreshments and the closing of the meeting. At the meeting on June 15, Julie Udall, of the Hereford and Worcester Fire Brigade, will speak on fire safety. Visitors will be very welcome.
