PRESIDENT Betty Wolsey welcomed 15 members to the May meeting and voiced everyone's thoughts for member Freda Perry, who had been admitted to hospital.
WI representative Christine Hickman-Smith was introduced to outline the proposed resolutions to be debated at the next AGM. Our members voted unanimously for these to go forward for debate.
Anne Shaw won both the photograph of a grandchild competition and the raffle prize. Four ladies had attended the Redditch, Lenchford and Saltway group meeting, held at the Bentley Pauncefoot village hall. There was a demonstration of flower arranging by Alison, of Tardebigge, three arrangements were demonstrated and these were later included in a raffle. A musical quiz followed and then supper was served. There was a presentation, which included slides and a talk about royal residences.
This was followed by a raffle.
