WITH reference to Mr Evers' letter in the May edition, it is a good summary of the situation at the Dodford Inn and his praise of the pub is appreciated.

A major 'plus point' for the Dodford is the food - not just bar snacks, but a range of starters, main courses and desserts.

The policy is to cook locally produced ingredients eg bacon, ham, gammon, sausage cured and supplied by a firm about seven miles away; free range eggs from a Dodford poultry farm; faggots, steaks, beef and chicken from Stourbridge Road suppliers.

This is not a carvery type, but individually prepared meals to order. If you have not tried the Dodford's menu, you do not know what you are missing!
