Kings Heath 164 all out Ombersley 168-5
Ombersley won by five wickets
DUNCAN Catterall smashed 93 runs as Ombersley romped to a five wicket victory over Kings Heath in the Birmingham and District League Division Three on Saturday.
The experienced player produced a star performance to seal the newly promoted side's first victory of the season.
Nick Dale-Lacey (4-33) and Dominic D'Oliveria (2-44) were the main wicket takers as Kings Heath were dismissed for 164.
Ombersley's reply with the bat was frustrated by Kings Heath bowlers, as openers Foster and D'Oliveria were dismissed cheaply, but Catterall hit back with 93 not out. Victory moved Ombersley to sixth in the table.
The team will be aiming for a second win when they take on the side directly below them in the table - Worcester on Saturday, June 10 (1pm start).
